Discuss your facial balance goals

If you are considering changes to the appearance of your jawline or lower face, a consultation provides time to discuss your goals. The discussion can focus on your facial structure and the jawline shape or balance you would like to explore.

Questions to ask before treatment

  • Are the options discussed suitable for my facial structure and goals?
  • What outcomes and limitations should I understand?
  • What potential risks, recovery and aftercare apply?
  • What appointment duration and pricing apply?

Use the consultation to understand your options before deciding whether to proceed.

Start with a consultation

Our consultation with RN Catherine provides 30 minutes to discuss your goals, assess suitability and explore treatment options. No treatment is performed during that consultation-only session.

Benefits

Jawline and face slimming treatments help soften the lower face by relaxing the masseter muscles, which can become enlarged from clenching, grinding, or habitual chewing activity. By reducing the bulk of these muscles, the lower face appears slimmer, more contoured, and more refined.

How It Works

Jawline slimming is performed by administering small, precise injections into the masseter muscles on each side of the face. As these muscles gradually relax, their size reduces over time, creating a softer and more tapered facial appearance.

The procedure typically takes around 15 to 30 minutes.
Some clients may experience mild tenderness or a slight feeling of chewing fatigue for a few days.

Initial improvements can usually be seen within 2 to 4 weeks, with continued refinement over the following weeks.
Results typically last 4 to 6 months depending on individual muscle strength and aesthetic goals.

Jawline slimming can be combined with other treatments, such as chin enhancement or cheek contouring, to further improve facial proportions and harmony.

What To Expect

Immediately after: Mild redness, slight swelling, or tenderness at injection points.

Days 2 to 4: Minor side effects typically settle. Some clients notice temporary chewing fatigue with firm foods.

Weeks 2 to 4: Visible slimming begins as the masseter muscles relax and reduce in size.

Weeks 4 to 8: Full slimming effect becomes more apparent. Jawline contouring may continue to refine with repeated treatments.

Results typically last: Around 4 to 6 months, depending on facial structure and muscle activity.

Aftercare Tips

  • Avoid touching or massaging the treated areas for at least 24 hours.
  • Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours to minimise swelling or bruising.
  • Avoid saunas, hot environments, and excessive sun exposure for the first day.
  • Choose softer foods temporarily if minor chewing fatigue occurs.
  • Avoid alcohol for 24 hours.
  • Pause active skincare products such as retinol or AHAs and BHAs for 24 hours if treated near the lower face.
