Aesthetics Consultations in Your 30s | Narellan

Your 30s are not a treatment deadline

If you are exploring aesthetic or skin services in your 30s, start with your own questions rather than a list of procedures recommended for your age. Being in a particular decade does not establish that you need treatment, which service would be appropriate or when you should start.

Nuva Aesthetics offers RN-led consultations at Lexyor Beauty Centre in Narellan. This guide helps you prepare a conversation around your concerns, preferences and circumstances, without assuming everyone in their 30s shares the same goals.

Separate your observations from age-based advice

You might have noticed a change in your skin, have questions about facial lines or simply want to understand a service you have seen online. Describe the specific observation and how long it has concerned you. Ask what assessment is appropriate instead of assuming that age explains it.

Useful starting questions include: “Is this something that needs assessment?” and “What are my options if I do not want a procedure?” You can seek information without committing to a treatment plan.

First visit or returning client?

If this is your first aesthetics appointment, you do not need to learn procedure names beforehand. Write down your main questions and what you would prefer not to change. Our first-consultation guide explains what to prepare.

If you have had procedures before, bring available dates and records, and explain what you liked or disliked. A plan from an earlier appointment is not automatically the right plan now. Use our previous-treatment review guide for a routine review enquiry.

Choose a concern to discuss, not a decade-based package

For questions about roughness, pores, marks after breakouts or your skin's appearance, explore our Skin Concerns hub. Bring your current skincare routine and details of prescribed skin treatments so you can discuss them during assessment.

For questions about expression lines, lip shape or facial balance, visit the Facial Concerns hub. These guides help you describe your observations; they do not establish that a cosmetic procedure is needed.

Ask what “preventative” means before accepting a plan

If you have been told you should start a service now to prevent a future concern, ask the clinician to explain the evidence, limitations, risks and alternatives for your situation. Age alone is not an individual assessment.

This page does not recommend preventative injections, promise to delay ageing or suggest that waiting means you have missed an opportunity.

Make the discussion fit your circumstances

Share relevant health information, medicines, supplements, allergies and previous procedures. Tell your clinician about pregnancy, breastfeeding or plans that may affect assessment, and ask for individual advice rather than relying on general online treatment lists.

Also mention upcoming work commitments, events and travel. Ask what preparation, recovery and follow-up would involve if a procedure is proposed. Our busy-professionals guide and event planning guide can help organise scheduling questions.

Questions before making a decision

  • What assessment is needed for my actual concern?
  • Why is this option being discussed for me, rather than simply for my age?
  • What could it reasonably address, and what would it not change?
  • What are the alternatives, including no procedure?
  • What risks, possible complications and recovery requirements should I understand?
  • What would the full costs and follow-up arrangements be?

Frequently asked questions

Is 30 the right age to start aesthetic treatments?

This guide does not set a starting age or recommend treatment because of a birthday. Discuss your own concern and whether any option is appropriate, including choosing not to proceed.

Can I book just to ask questions?

The listed consultation with RN Catherine provides 30 minutes for discussion and assessment, with no treatment performed during the session. Confirm that it fits your enquiry before booking.

Do I need to change several things at once?

This page does not recommend a combination or package. Explain your priorities and ask whether any intervention is appropriate before considering a plan.
